# Route to Ship

> Route to Ship is a Shopify app for stores that make, customize, or personalize their products. It turns paid Shopify orders into a live production pipeline — routing each order into department and worker task queues automatically — and gives customers a branded portal to track their order's production progress from paid to shipped.

Route to Ship is built for made-to-order and custom-product merchants (engravers, embroiderers, jewelry makers, print-on-demand and small-batch brands) who have outgrown spreadsheets and the native Shopify orders page. Orders sync from Shopify via webhooks, move through pipeline stages you define, and can be auto-routed using order tags. Every plan includes the Customer Tracking Portal. Billing is handled through Shopify Billing.
